ALBERT GERSTEN PAVILION
Albert Gersten Pavilion, entering its 23rd year as the host of LMU's indoor athletic events, is the centerpiece of the LMU athletic complex. Opening in 1981, Gersten Pavilion has become one of the toughest places to play in the West Coast Conference and one of the premier athletic facilities in Southern California. While hosting men's and women's basketball and volleyball, the Pavilion has seen its share of memorable moments in the history of collegiate athletics, including that of the record-breaking men's basketball program at LMU. The Pavilion seats 4,156.

GEORGE C. PAGE STADIUM
Now in its 23rd year as the home of Lion baseball, George C. Page Stadium has proven to be a tough place to play for its opponents and one of the more unique college ballparks in the country. The Park features the Mikos Blue Monster, a replica of Fenway Park's Green Monster, complete with manual scoreboard. In addition, Pride Park, the entry way to Page Stadium, is a perfect tribute to the Lions' past and present. Opened in 1983, Page Stadium has bleacher seating for 600 and can hold more than 1,000 with the picnic area down right field.

SULLIVAN FIELD
Loyola Marymount's Sullivan Field has been home to some of the best soccer around in the last decade. How to five NCAA teams over the last six years, Sullivan Field has continued to make improvements over the past five years, including a new playing surface, bleachers and scoreboard. Sullivan Field has served as an official training site for some of the world's greatest soccer teams, not to mention a frequent practice site for various Major League Soccer teams when visiting Los Angeles to face the LA Galaxy.

BURNS AQUATICS CENTER
Since it opened in the fall of 2000 as the home of Loyola Marymount University aquatics, the Burns Recreation and Aquatics Center has seen eight championships and the two water polo teams combine for 92 wins in just five short seasons. Showing that it is one of the finest facilities in the country, LMU hosted the NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship on December 7-8, 2002. Both days of the event were sold out with a crowd of more than 2,600 for the championship.

LMU TENNIS CENTER & the Morris A. Pivaroff and George P. Kading Tournament Court
In 2003, the LMU Tennis Center took a huge step with the addition of the Morris A. Pivaroff and George p. Kading Tournament Court. This "Court #1" features a fan spectator area and gave the entire six-court complex a face lift. More is to come as new, energy efficient lighting, new fencing and a scoreboard are on their way in the near future.

SMITH FIELD
One of the newest additions to the LMU Athletics' facilities is Smith Field. Thanks to a donation from Mike and Patty Smith, the new ballpark combines state-of-the-art with a park-like atmosphere. The dugouts are professional grade and sit two-feet below the surface. The dimensions of the park are 200-feet in left and right field and 215 feet in dead center. The outfield fence will stand four-feet high with a grass slope climbing behind for addition lawn seating.

THOMAS HIGGINS, SJ, SHORT GAME CENTER
Thanks to private donations, LMU men's golf has a new on-campus practice facility. The state-of-the-art facility will be named in the honor of Thomas Higgins, S.J., who was the head coach of the men's golf program for 30-plus years. The total area of the putting green will be around 5,900 square feet of synthetic turf and will include a first cut fringe and rough. Nine different cups with pins and flags will be installed into the putting surface and two bunkers will surround the green on the northeast side.

JANE BROWNE BOVE BOATHOUSE
The Jane Browne Bove Boathouse was completed in 2002 and the facility includes two boat bays, a work area, an office, a new dock and restrooms. The boathouse is part of beautiful Marina del Rey, Calif, and is home to the men's and women's crew teams. Conditions are generally ideal from the state-of-the-art boathouse. The water is protected within the marina, temperatures are nice throughout the year and boat traffic is low. Adjacent to the waters of Marina del Rey sits the Lions home course - Ballona Creek. A bike pat runs along the creek for the entire 2000 meter course, allowing spectators outstanding viewing of the races.
