LMU Places Eight on All-PCSC Teams Eight LMU players highlighted the Pacific Coast Softball Conference 2008 All-Conference teams, announced Monday. Four Lions headed the First Team, led by conference Pitcher of the Year Tiffany Pagano. Junior Kirsten Slouber earned her second appearance on the First Team while junior Chelsie Tysdal and sophomore J.J. Hartung were each honored for the first time in their careers. Redshirt sophomore Darcy Pagnini was the lone Lion representative on the Second Team and the trio of junior MiaSarah Cesena, sophomore Melissa Dykema, and freshman Amy Charpentier were awarded Honorable Mention status. >> Read More

Ninth-Inning Lion Rally Falls Short, LMU Drops 12-10 Decision LMU (22-29) scored seven runs in the top of the ninth inning, but the rally fell just short as the Lions dropped a 12-10 decision to No. 3 Arizona State (41-9) on Monday in game three of a three-game non-conference series being played at ASU's Packard Stadium.
